Chicago Blackhawks Chalk Talk
The Chicago Blackhawks have played 50 games this season. Though overall they haven’t been terrible, so far they are in a very precarious position in the standings. If the playoffs were to start today, they would make it in, but on goal difference alone. Improvement is obviously needed.
In his 50-game review of the season thus far, Blackhawks ESPNChicago blogger Jesse Rogers makes several...
Two Rules Changes I'd Love to See in Sports
1. There should be essentially two columns for NHL standings. Wins and losses. Do away with the point for an overtime/shootout loss and all that. Keep the shootout, but the team that loses, or loses prior to the shootout in overtime, gets nothing. Simplification is nearly always a good thing.
2. In soccer (or for the rest of the world: football), eliminate offsides within the 18-yard box...

Great article about the first movie in the original Star Wars trilogy on the Doombot.com blog. A bit old (these are from August 2005), but still good reads.
Here’s Blogging the Trilogy: The Empire Strikes Back (just as good, if not better). For some reason, I don’t think an article for Return of the Jedi was ever written. If it was, I can’t find it.
Essential Description to My Previous Post
I feel this description needs to be added to my previous post. This is from the video’s description on YouTube:
I got frustrated with NASA and made this video. NASA is the most fascinating, adventurous, epic institution ever devised by human beings, and their media sucks. Seriously. None of their brilliant scientists appear to know how to connect with the social media crowd, which is now...

Joshua Kors' iMac Troubles: Operator Error
Computers run on code, not dreams. — Chris Rawson
The apparently distinguished writer Joshua Kors recently had a column in the Huffington Post where he wrote about his experience switching to a Mac. Long story short, it wasn’t a good one. After facing numerous problems, he returned his iMac soon after buying it.
I originally heard of this article from Ben Brooks on his website, The Brooks...
